What is your step-by-step trip planning process?
Whenever I try to plan a vacation, I get stuck deciding whether to book flights first, find a hotel first, or build an itinerary around local tours. How do you usually structure your trip preparation from scratch, and what travel platforms do you find most practical to use?

I’d begin by treating “ROM” as a broad term rather than assuming that every ROM is technically the same type of file. XCI is generally associated with cartridge-based content, while NSP is commonly associated with installable software packages. Beyond those, you’ll encounter terms relating to updates, downloadable content, firmware and emulator compatibility. The easiest way to learn is to read technical documentation and follow preservation discussions instead of relying on random file-sharing pages. It’s also useful to understand how different emulator versions handle particular formats, because compatibility can vary. Once the terminology is clear, technical discussions become much easier to follow, and you can better understand what each file actually represents.
