Three steps, no booking
Art Play runs children's arts and crafts in London at our Shoreditch and Chelsea studios. Kids can tie-dye a t-shirt, build with clay, make a mosaic, paint in the dark with UV colours or shoot a stop motion film. Sessions are guided by friendly instructors and all materials are provided.
Arts and crafts by age
1. Ages 5 to 7 and 8 to 11: after-school clubs in painting, mixed media and clay, £140 per course.
2. Ages 6+: UV painting in the dark, £22 (recommended age).
3. Ages 7+: hand-building pottery with air-dry clay, £20, and graffiti.
4. Children's sessions: tie dye (£18), mosaics (£22) and stop motion animation (£35).
5. With an adult: FreeFlow painting on a canvas or a bear, from £16.
An adult needs to stay on site for every session. For mosaics, pottery, UV painting and animation, grown-ups can observe free of charge; for tie dye and graffiti, adults who join in need a ticket.
SIMILAR SERVICES
Crafts that children take home
Children leave with something to show for the session: a tie-dyed t-shirt or vest, clay creations or a mosaic. Mosaics can go home the same day, or be left with us for grouting and collected about two weeks later.
Art clubs and regular classes
For children who want more, Paint & Play, Art Explorers and Silly Sculpture run as courses for ages 5 to 7 and 8 to 11. Art Explorers tries a different medium each week, from illustration to printmaking and collage.
Arts and crafts birthday parties
