Three steps, no booking
Art Play runs creative kids' workshops in London at our Shoreditch and Chelsea studios, from tie dye and mosaics to pottery, UV painting, animation and graffiti. Sessions are guided by friendly instructors, all materials are provided and no experience is needed.
Kids' workshops and prices
1. Tie dye: learn simple tie-dye techniques and design a t-shirt or vest to take home. £18.
2. Hand-building pottery: shape and mould air-dry clay with an instructor. Ages 7+, £20.
3. Mosaics: a one-hour session designing a piece with colourful tiles. £22.
4. UV painting in the dark: glow-in-the-dark paints in a darkened studio, recommended for ages 6+. £22.
5. Animation: children and adults build sets and props and make a stop motion film together. £35.
These aren't drop-off sessions: an adult needs to stay on site. For mosaics, pottery, UV painting and animation, grown-ups can observe for free. For tie dye and graffiti, adults who want to join in need their own ticket.

Kids' art classes for school holidays
Need something for half term or a rainy weekend? Most kids' workshops last about an hour, which is long enough to make something and short enough to hold attention. An instructor guides each session, then children get on with their own piece with help on hand.
After-school art clubs for ages 5 to 11
For a regular creative outlet, our clubs run as courses: Paint & Play for painting skills, Art Explorers for a different medium each week, and Silly Sculpture for clay. Each club has groups for ages 5–7 and 8–11 and costs £140 per course.
Kids' birthday parties and private sessions
Private kids' workshops are available for birthdays and groups, including tie dye, mosaics, UV painting, pottery, animation and graffiti. Children are also welcome at FreeFlow painting with adult supervision, where they can paint a canvas or a bear.
