Three steps, no booking
Life drawing at Art Play is currently run for private groups. The session you can book online is Santa Life Drawing, a festive class for 8 to 50 guests at £32 per person, where an experienced artist demonstrates drawing techniques before you put pencil to paper. No drawing experience is required.
How a life drawing session works
1. Demonstration first: the artist shows drawing techniques and tips before you start.
2. Draw from the model: in the festive session, Santa is your model.
3. Room to experiment: try different techniques and develop your drawing skills as the session goes on.

Life drawing means drawing a live model. At Art Play the emphasis is on having a go rather than getting it perfect: the artist leading the session demonstrates techniques first, then encourages you to experiment as you draw. That makes it a good first life drawing class as well as a fun group activity.

Because everyone draws the same model, life drawing gets a group talking and laughing quickly, which is why it works for work socials and celebrations. Private sessions take 8 to 50 guests. For bigger groups, ask about hiring one of our studios in Shoreditch or Chelsea.
No public life drawing dates right now
We don't currently list public, single-ticket life drawing classes.
