Three steps, no booking
Painting to music changes how you paint: looser, bolder, less overthinking. Vibe N' Paint at Art Play is an 18+ session where a live DJ sets the mood and you paint whatever inspires you. Your £25 ticket covers three hours, a 30x40cm canvas, an easel, paints, brushes and an apron.
How painting to music works
1. No instructor: it's unguided, so there's no set picture to copy.
2. A live DJ: every session has a different sound, from nostalgic R&B to Afrobeat, House, Garage and Hip Hop.
3. Your kit: one 30x40cm canvas, an easel, an apron and unlimited access to paints and brushes.
4. The bar: cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks.
5. What to bring: ID, a card for drinks and a bag for your canvas (or buy one for £1.50).
It's beginner-friendly and relaxed, whether you come with friends or on your own. Your finished artwork is yours to take home. Upcoming dates are shown on the booking page.

Why paint to music?
Music gives you a rhythm to work to and something to respond to on the canvas. It can be easier to start painting when there's a beat and a room full of others doing the same, with nobody watching over your shoulder.
Prefer a quieter session?
FreeFlow is our everyday unguided painting session: up to two hours with a canvas, paints and brushes from £16, and children are welcome with an adult. If you'd like to be taught, Sip & Paint is a guided class for £38.
Private painting parties with music
For birthdays and work socials, both Art Play studios can be hired, with a full bar and a sound system. Tell us your numbers and date through private bookings. Private workshops are also available for groups of 8 or more.
