Pottery painting in Chelsea, just off the King's Road. At Art Play Chelsea, 5 Chelsea Manor Street, you can paint an upcycled mug, plate or bowl your way, with a café and bar in the studio. It's unguided and relaxed, and a good plan for friends, dates and families.
What's on at Art Play Chelsea
1. Upcycle pottery painting: unguided, with pottery, paints and brushes provided. Ask in the studio what's available.
2. FreeFlow painting: up to two hours on canvas, from £16.
3. Paint a Bear: decorate a 23cm or 33cm bear with brushes, from £22.
4. Guided classes: hand-building pottery (£32) is listed across our studios, so check the venue on each date.
5. The bar: coffee, soft drinks, wine, beer and cocktails.
Children are welcome at FreeFlow sessions with adult supervision, which makes Chelsea an easy family stop. The wheel throwing taster runs at our Shoreditch studio.
