Service Description
This three-session watercolor course introduces basic techniques, color mixing, and simple composition. Participants build confidence through guided practice and complete a final painting, developing their creativity in a relaxed, supportive setting of art play studio. Each session around 2h Session 1: Basics & Techniques • Materials + setup • Practice: flat wash, gradient, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry • Texture: salt, dry brush, lifting • Mini project: simple sky or abstract Session 2: Color & Simple Forms • Color mixing (primaries, warm/cool) • Practice values and greens • Paint: leaves, florals, or fruit • Focus: layering and control Session 3: Final Painting • Composition basics (focal point, balance) • Plan sketch + colors • Final piece: landscape, still life, or florals • Quick feedback

Welcome to Art Play London! Below is our policy guide for your smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience. Booking Policies Public Sessions - No refunds except within the first 10 minutes of making the booking. - Rescheduling permitted up to 72 hours before for workshops, 24 hours for free-flow sessions. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness past 10 minutes or no-shows. - Attendees more than 10 minutes late are not permitted entry Private Sessions - A non refundable deposit of 50% of booking required. - No refunds or remaining balance unless cancellation 7 days prior. - £100 rescheduling fee, 7 days' notice required. General Policies Lateness - Entry not permitted for arrivals more than 10 minutes late. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness. Conduct - Kindness and respect towards staff is essential for a positive environment. Alcohol Consumption - Drink responsibly; intoxication causing disturbance leads to expulsion. Artwork Collection - Storage fees: £3 for paintings, terrariums up to 7 days. - Collection deadlines: 7 days for candles, pottery, marbling; 2 weeks for acrylic pour, mosaics. - Unclaimed items may be upcycled, sold, or given away. - We are not responsible for lost or damaged artwork Outside Food and Drink - Strictly prohibited; refreshments available at our bar. Children - Guests under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Contact Us - Allow up to 3 working days for responses. Health and Safety - First-aid trained staff on duty. - Not responsible for injuries; COVID-19 precautions observed. Additional Information Dress Code - Aprons provided; personal attire damage not our responsibility. Accessibility - Wheelchair accessible; inform us in advance for accommodations. Payment - Cards only; no cash transactions. Age Restrictions - ID required for alcohol consumption - Age restrictions vary by workshop types, check descriptions. - 18 plus after 7pm on Friday and Saturday Privacy Policy - Customer data not shared; protected under data protection laws. Photography and Video - Reserve right to use media for promotional purposes.(inform member of staff if you wish not to be on camera) Pets - Well-behaved dogs welcome; may be asked to leave if disruptive.
