Service Description
Explore a new art form, technique or creative challenge every week! Art Explorers is our KS2 multi-medium art club, designed for children who love experimenting and want to discover all the different ways they can be creative. Every week introduces a new theme, medium or artistic process, giving children the opportunity to build a broad range of creative skills. Projects may include: Illustration & Drawing — developing visual storytelling and drawing skills Animation — exploring movement, sequencing and storytelling Printmaking — experimenting with pattern, repetition, texture and process Paper Engineering — developing spatial awareness, construction and problem-solving skills Painting & Mixed Media — combining materials and experimenting with different techniques Collage & 3D Making — exploring composition, materials, shape and form Every project encourages children to experiment, problem-solve and make independent creative choices, while introducing them to new artists, techniques and ways of working. And every Art Explorer receives their own Explorer Map, where they can check off each new art medium they discover. How many creative worlds will you explore? Perfect for KS2 children who are curious, imaginative and keen to try new things, develop creative skills and discover their own way of making art.

Welcome to Art Play London! Below is our policy guide for your smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience. Booking Policies Public Sessions - No refunds except within the first 10 minutes of making the booking. - Rescheduling permitted up to 72 hours before for workshops, 24 hours for free-flow sessions. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness past 10 minutes or no-shows. - Attendees more than 10 minutes late are not permitted entry Private Sessions - A non refundable deposit of 50% of booking required. - No refunds or remaining balance unless cancellation 7 days prior. - £100 rescheduling fee, 7 days' notice required. General Policies Lateness - Entry not permitted for arrivals more than 10 minutes late. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness. Conduct - Kindness and respect towards staff is essential for a positive environment. Alcohol Consumption - Drink responsibly; intoxication causing disturbance leads to expulsion. Artwork Collection - Storage fees: £3 for paintings, terrariums up to 7 days. - Collection deadlines: 7 days for candles, pottery, marbling; 2 weeks for acrylic pour, mosaics. - Unclaimed items may be upcycled, sold, or given away. - We are not responsible for lost or damaged artwork Outside Food and Drink - Strictly prohibited; refreshments available at our bar. Children - Guests under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Contact Us - Allow up to 3 working days for responses. Health and Safety - First-aid trained staff on duty. - Not responsible for injuries; COVID-19 precautions observed. Additional Information Dress Code - Aprons provided; personal attire damage not our responsibility. Accessibility - Wheelchair accessible; inform us in advance for accommodations. Payment - Cards only; no cash transactions. Age Restrictions - ID required for alcohol consumption - Age restrictions vary by workshop types, check descriptions. - 18 plus after 7pm on Friday and Saturday Privacy Policy - Customer data not shared; protected under data protection laws. Photography and Video - Reserve right to use media for promotional purposes.(inform member of staff if you wish not to be on camera) Pets - Well-behaved dogs welcome; may be asked to leave if disruptive.
