Service Description
Paint & Play is a creative painting club designed for KS2 children who want to develop their artistic skills and confidence. Through a series of structured but imaginative projects, children will learn how artists use observation, composition, colour, perspective, tone and detail to create successful artwork. Projects will include: Still Life Children will practise observational drawing, explore how to arrange objects within a composition, experiment with colour mixing and use light and dark to create basic shading and form. Portraits Children will explore facial proportions and features, practise drawing from observation and experiment with expression, layering and detail to create portraits with character and personality. Landscapes Children will explore composition and perspective, learning how foreground, midground and background can be used to create depth and space within a painting. Throughout the club, children will be encouraged to make creative decisions, experiment with materials and develop their own ideas, while building practical painting skills. A great choice for KS2 children who enjoy art and want to develop their technique, confidence and individual artistic voice.

Welcome to Art Play London! Below is our policy guide for your smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience. Booking Policies Public Sessions - No refunds except within the first 10 minutes of making the booking. - Rescheduling permitted up to 72 hours before for workshops, 24 hours for free-flow sessions. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness past 10 minutes or no-shows. - Attendees more than 10 minutes late are not permitted entry Private Sessions - A non refundable deposit of 50% of booking required. - No refunds or remaining balance unless cancellation 7 days prior. - £100 rescheduling fee, 7 days' notice required. General Policies Lateness - Entry not permitted for arrivals more than 10 minutes late. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness. Conduct - Kindness and respect towards staff is essential for a positive environment. Alcohol Consumption - Drink responsibly; intoxication causing disturbance leads to expulsion. Artwork Collection - Storage fees: £3 for paintings, terrariums up to 7 days. - Collection deadlines: 7 days for candles, pottery, marbling; 2 weeks for acrylic pour, mosaics. - Unclaimed items may be upcycled, sold, or given away. - We are not responsible for lost or damaged artwork Outside Food and Drink - Strictly prohibited; refreshments available at our bar. Children - Guests under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Contact Us - Allow up to 3 working days for responses. Health and Safety - First-aid trained staff on duty. - Not responsible for injuries; COVID-19 precautions observed. Additional Information Dress Code - Aprons provided; personal attire damage not our responsibility. Accessibility - Wheelchair accessible; inform us in advance for accommodations. Payment - Cards only; no cash transactions. Age Restrictions - ID required for alcohol consumption - Age restrictions vary by workshop types, check descriptions. - 18 plus after 7pm on Friday and Saturday Privacy Policy - Customer data not shared; protected under data protection laws. Photography and Video - Reserve right to use media for promotional purposes.(inform member of staff if you wish not to be on camera) Pets - Well-behaved dogs welcome; may be asked to leave if disruptive.
