Sip, Paint & Let Loose with Abstract Art at Art Play Come and join us for a laid-back Abstract Sip & Paint session at Art Play London, right in the heart of East London, just outside Old Spitalfields Market. This isn’t your typical painting class. We’re all about abstract art here - big bold shapes, splashes of colour, messy brush stroke. Whatever feels good! There’s no “right” or “wrong” in abstract, which makes it perfect for absolute beginners or anyone who just fancies a creative night out. Our lovely resident artists will give you a few tips to get you started, but after that it’s totally up to you. Paint what you feel, have a laugh, and enjoy a drink (or two!) while you let your imagination take over. Speaking of drinks, we’ve got a fully stocked bar and even a bottomless prosecco option if you’re in the mood to celebrate. And if you're hungry, you can grab some tasty food while you’re here too - it’s the full night out, really. We’ll sort all the arty stuff—paints, canvases, aprons—you just bring yourself (and your mates if you fancy). Come on your own, come as a group. Everyone’s welcome. A couple of quick things to keep in mind: Try to be on time! If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we won’t be able to let you join in (we know, annoying—but it keeps things running smoothly for everyone). If we don’t have enough people booked in, we might need to cancel or reschedule—but we’ll always give you plenty of notice. So, grab a drink, pick up a brush, and let’s get messy. Booking Policies Public Sessions - No refunds except within the first 10 minutes. - Rescheduling permitted up to 72 hours before for workshops, 24 hours for free-flow sessions. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness past 10 minutes or no-shows. - Attendees more than 10 minutes late are not permitted entry Private Sessions - A non refundable deposit of 50% of booking required. - No refunds or remaining balance unless cancellation 7 days prior. - £100 rescheduling fee, 7 days' notice required. General Policies Lateness - Entry not permitted for arrivals more than 10 minutes late. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness. Conduct - Kindness and respect towards staff is essential for a positive environment. Alcohol Consumption - Drink responsibly; intoxication causing disturbance leads to expulsion. Artwork Collection - Storage fees: £3 for paintings, terrariums up to 7 days. - Collection deadlines: 7 days for candles, pottery, marbling; 2 weeks for acrylic pour, mosaics. - Unclaimed items may be upcycled, sold, or given away. - We are not responsible for lost or damaged artwork Outside Food and Drink - Strictly prohibited; refreshments available at our bar. Children - Guests under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Contact Us - Allow up to 3 working days for responses. Health and Safety - First-aid trained staff on duty. - Not responsible for injuries; COVID-19 precautions observed.
